Stringing This page is for owners of a DENWAR harp, but may also be helpful to owners of other harps.............. (This is a printable page)
A string chart is an important tool for a harp owner.... without it you are "handicapped" when you break a string and need re-placement. If you do not have a string chart for your harp, contact the maker and insist on one. If this fails: Send a piece of the broken string together with length and color required to a string retailer. (below) For DENWAR harp owners who have lost their string charts.....you can order a string from the chart below ( for all harps excepting: Denwar Harps prior to 1997 and Classics prior to 31 June 2002...... For ALL string replacements go to one of the retailers below........

On 8th October 2009 this chart was changed to make it easier to understand. Anyone having a harp (ONLY the harps indicated immediately below) that starts with a Red 'C' string as #1... will need to read this chart differently...ie...their #3 string is #1 on the Chart, their #4 is #2 on chart and so on. (Their #1 & #2 are both .025" diameter.) NB. On the chart below.... #1 (shortest string) is an "A" string.....
