Harmonic Harps for relaxation, meditation or just Fun
All strings are in Harmony with each other..... there are no wrong notes....so anyone can play it
These harps are related to the Psaltery, Lyre, Kinnor & Reverie, and can be used by anyone
without previous knowledge of music or ability to play. Use it gently for times of peaceful
meditation or relaxation....either for the player or to help others ( Therapy)
They have 2 sets of 11 color coded strings (=22 strings) that are tuned to a 'Pentatonic' Key scales,
so all strings are in Harmony with each other ( There are no wrong notes) Each string set starts
with the low bass notes 'C' in the middle of the harp and graduate up the scale to the outer sides
(Left & Right) for 2 Octaves each. Even just by 'strumming' across the strings with the thumb will
create a 'Waterfall effect' which can bring a feeling of tranquility.

Usually, only the Index Finger &/or the Thumb is used for playing.....

When 'strumming' this Harp for a gentle effect...
Use the pads of your index
finger or thumb....do not 'Rake' the action but 'stroke'it.

When picking out individual notes, arch the finger & thumb slightly
& pluck the required notes.
Because these instruments are Pentatonic and are created to
produce relaxing sounds by complete novices, they cannot  be
used to play many known tunes as regular Diatonic Harps
can...however...Many Scottish & Irish Folk Tunes are Pentatonic
and can be played on either the HARMONIC or HARMONIC PLUS.
If you Require a Harmonic Harp that can play any Tunes then
order the:
HARMONIC DOUBLE DIATONIC HARP.
